It's no joke, I had upper jaw surgery, pre surgery braces sucked as i could barely chew while shaping my future tooth line. Post surgery was hell for 2-3 weeks of just consuming blended soups with added butter for calories. I fainted walking up the stairs to remove the wire harness fixing my teeth from malnutrition. Then rubber bands for up to 6 months barely being able to chew because they want your to keep your mouth shut as much as possible not to screw up your new tooth line. I was lucky not needing retainers afterwards which i was told some people needed for years after. I lost sensation in my upper jaw for 2 years, then it started coming back slowly and was able to feel every part of my upper jaw after 10-12 years. It did screw up my nasal cavities to an extent and will often build up huge mucus deposits as a result that will come out as a massive snot blob like once a week or so.

I’ve been letting for a great pair myself lots tugging like you said in certain areas suck not to mention if you have bigger thighs the ride up sucks I’m going to have to give these a try

They wanted..to do this surgery on me when I was 10.. I had an overbite.. I'm 50 now..my teeth are perfect..never had the surgery. My teeth came in fine .so what I will say is some time it's unnecessary for the younger

I've been watching a lot of videos about this procedure as mine is in less than 2 weeks. Nobody else's has been as in depth and informative. I'm super grateful for your videos around this it's helping my mental get prepared for something I have no idea how to prepare for :)

I just went through jaw surgery this past week. I've been following your journey for a long time. Watching your videos have helped me tremendously to stay motivated during my recovery. One thing that has been super helpful is physical therapy. Physical therapy in your jaw is incredibly helpful to reduce the swelling and to train your face muscles to recover faster.

Becouse right know i fell that my left side is pressing on when im trying to open my mouth so much that is possible , how was you experience did you have some of the same problems in the first weeks ?
